Dorset's D-Star Repeater And Gateway

New technologies come and go.

D-Star is here to stay and the enthusiasic Dorset based team of amateurs who are constructing GB7MM are keen to play a part in its devolopment.

We've been working hard to get GB7MM on air and we are now close to being in service.

Update 7 July 2008 some on-air testing has been carried out and things are looking good!

Update 8 July 2008 Final alignment is taking place and the antenna is now at operational height. Switch-on will be at 1800 tomorrow 09 July 2008.

GB7MM was placed on air at 1800 on the 9th of July 2008 in stand-alone mode.

The GB7MM gateway is now configured and registered - it will be installed at the site in the near future.

Current Status - there are currently some issues with input sensitivity - this is under investigation!

Gateway

GB7MM will provide gateway access to the rest of the D-Star network of connected repeaters around the globe. As an amateur repeater, all licenced amatuers are welcome to use the repeater. For access to the Gateway we ask that you join the Gateway user group.
