A quick guide to downloading MME files from this website.

• If you have subscribed to the MME service, you will have received an e-mail containg your login name, subscription number and password.
• To use the MME Electronic subscription system, you must first logon to this site.
• To logon, you need to click on the Login button on the menu bar.
• This will produce a login box.
• Please enter your details from the E-mail in the text areas.
• Next click the Login button.
• If you have entered the details correctly, you will be presented with a screen saying Login Successful
• You now need to click on the View Issues option in the top menu bar.
• Then you will be presented with all the issues that you are entitled to.
• If you have subscribed for a year, then as the publication dates arrive, each new issue is added automatically.
• We will not notify you that a new issue is ready, just visit the site and download when you wish.
• To download your personalised MME issue, you must click on the thumbnail cover picture.
• Then your issue is prepared by the system.
• When it is ready for collection, you will be e-mailed a link to click to collect it.
• Please note that you have an hour to collect the issue, after the hour is up, the file gets deleted.
• You can request another one if you miss it, but there is a limit to how many attempts you can make.

Don't forget that new MME issues are not available until the date of publication of the issue. This can be a few days after the paper copy appears in the shops as the news trade is a little hard to predict at times.

Things that can go wrong:

Sometimes there can be very heavy congestion on your ISPs Email servers and the notification sent by the MME server can get delayed. To avoid missing the your requested PDF issue, you can click the cover thumbnail about 5 minutes after you request the issue, this action will then give you a direct download link and avoid any Email delays.

If you lose your password you can request another by clicking the link in the login box. A new password will be automatically e-mailed to you. For your security, MM support staff cannot access your password so if you have lost or forgotten it we can't help, you must request a new one.

It is possible that spam protection mechanisms that keep your mail box free from junk mail, may have stopped you from receiving your subscription details. We have noticed that many AOL customemrs encounter apparant non-delivery of notifications. Unfortunately there is little MM can do to change the way youer ISP works. One alternative, is to set-up a free e-mail address with the likes of Google, Yahoo, MSN etc. This said, there are AOL users who manage to rescue the notification e-mails, so there is a way.

We have found that the easiest way to enter your password into the login text box, is to copy and paste it from the e-mail.

Please take care to only copy the password characters, any that are missing or additional end of line characters will make your login fail. You need to take care with this process since the username and password must match the database information for you to be able to access your files.

If you request more than two issues at a time, you will receive a warning that you have exceeded the download limit. This is not permanent, but it ensures that other users can still enjoy the facilities at the same time as you.
